IT department management (3 subordinates) Proactive business support of company's business processes. New technologies implementing, negotiation, project management, preparing technical requirements, budgeting. IT cost optimization. Workstations, electronic equipment, UPS systems were installed, configured according the prepared project. IT security was enforced in following aspects: - Vlans were entered to divide LAN on independent segments, - Routing of necessary traffic only was configured between 5 LANs, - Network services accessibility is monitored using ISA Server's monitoring tools, - IT Security policy document was created, applied. It's adherence is under control, - Presentations and individual explanatory work were done to help personnel to understand and to observe the IT security policy, - Confidential data ciphering was implemented, including electronic data signatures ciphering, - Internet access was limited (by sites and content), - Centrally managed and updated antivirus system was installed, - Centrally managed UPS units were installed. Power supply protection of every workstation, - The list of permitted to use software was created and supported, - Data storage was centralized by installing file server. Shadow copies were also configured, - Data access was limited for users, - Roaming profiles and folders redirection were implemented, - Data backup, ciphering and restoration systems were applied, - Out of site backup copies storage project was worked out. All the preliminary tasks were accomplished. - Hardware based VPN tunnels for offices interconnection were created and permitted to users to share files not using emails. Company's head office network infrastructure was modernized. Active network equipment was changed by HP Procurve devices. Network topology changes were done, WiFi added as a network connection service. Main switch node was moved to another location (including PBX, cable hull fitting, servers, router, switch). Server room created, including power supply units, climate control Systems, access control system. Company's PBX was changed by a new one Samsung OfficeServ 7200. New phone services were proposed (virtual numbers, unconditional call forwarding, out of office indication, station and personal phone directories). IP phones were installed in remote office. SAMO-Tour system for tourist contracts registration and analysis was implemented. 6 Servers were published in Internet: DNS, SAMO-Tour, pptp VPN, ftp, pop3, smtp. All the Information Infrastructure was created from the very beginning. Windows servers were configured and it's working processes are monitored. Performance monitor logs are running and analyzing. Inquiry of user satisfaction level was done. Computing techniques inventory was performed. User support was under my responsibility. Distributed corporate network, workstations and mobile users performance were also under my responsibility. I performed intermediate control for current projects, reporting on regular basis for every task and project.
