About me
It is an honor to apply for the position of English Teacher (ESL Instructor) which I recently saw advertised on your website.
I believe I have the knowledge and experience to excel in this position. I have studied and taught English in the Republic of Tajikistan, and I have traveled abroad, obtaining professional advancement in the English language. I have worked at the INGO Operation Mercy Tajikistan, first as an Administrative Assistant, then as an English Teacher, then as the Language Center Coordinator, and finally advancing to Manager of Educational and Health Projects.
While studying at university I learned strategies for teaching the English language which I later applied in the classroom environment. I have taught English at Operation Mercy for 14 years, and I have been working with various foreign citizens for over 20 years, using my language ability in communications and translation.
As an administrative assistant I managed the work of the English Language Center at Operation Mercy. While teaching at the organization, I had opportunities to travel to the United Kingdom and the Unites States to participate in courses for professional development. As the Manager of Educational and Health projects, one of my duties is to coordinate and lead monthly meetings and trainings for our English Teaching staff in order to build and maintain a spirit of unity, professional development, and cooperation among teachers.
I love teaching English. As a Senior Teacher I have had the opportunity to teach classes of many different levels, which I greatly enjoy. My students have ranged in age from young children to adults. I believe that I am highly qualified for the position you advertised and believe I would make a positive impact on your organization.
Thank you for your time and consideration of my application. I look forward to hearing from you. I can be reached at sabou@mail.ru or by phone at 37. I could also speak with you through Skype (sabosha3) if you desire.
Sincerely,
Sabohat Ubaidullaeva
